It is really hard to play the game because, no matter how much i tried for the kids not to die they kept on running out of money, and it was really stressing not being to win the game. Even though the game is fun, and friendly it is really hard to play because it consists of a family, and you have to keep the family alive. It might not look hard but it is very very hard. So they give you a choice to choose from Happiness, Money, Education, or Health, and i chose money because I thought that if you have money, then you could pay for school and then you would be happy. To achieve my goal i had to make them work a lot, and have no rest what so ever. I combined work with school so some people worked and some people studied so that i could achieve not only my goal but the studying goal as well. They would devote to give their kids education because, if they are educated they will get more money because they know more things. While i was playing the Haiti game i faced some really hard obstacles, and the hardest obstacle was when the kids got sick. I though this game was very challenging and that it would be much harder in real life.

Shark soup or Ear soup?
http://naturescrusaders.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/zzzshark-fin-soup.jpg
In the world mostly everyone thinks that sharks are evil, but have they met them long enough to say that well i don't think so. Movies and TV shows make the Shark look evil when they actually aren't and since technology is practically the most watched thing on earth, anyone would believe it without meeting an actual shark. If you actually think about it, bees and dogs have killed more people than sharks have, they can chase you and sting you while sharks well, sharks are afraid of us and only 5% hurt people and they usually don't even mean to hurt us. I really hate shark finning and long line fishing, and if i could do anything in the world to stop it i would do it.

We are going to save sharks!!!!!!:
-by making games
-raising money
-watching a shark movies
-making people love shark
-teaching
and lots of other ways.
Shark Fin Awareness!!!
For Global Issues we, saw a movie about shark fin and decided to take action so that people would be more aware of sharks getting killed. To help the sharks, we did games and researched some facts about sharks, and collected money. I think that we made people more aware about sharks and that, they will think twice before eating shark fin. This might have raised the shark fin awareness mostly because they will tell people, and those people will tell other people and will stop them from eating shark fin! If i did this project again i would make some more games and have more prizes if you win the game. I learned that, if you work little by little you can make a difference of how people react to shark fin

3rd world farmer- reflection
3rd world farmer was really fun and it helped me, understand how hard it is to maintain a family when you don't have any money. There was also a pattern, i figured it out because very time i tried the same thing over and over again i got to pass the game and become very very rich! The game also teaches you that sometimes you have to do hard choices for your family, and that you dont want to have too many kids or you might not be able to take care of them well, and your family too.

Global issues is serious!!

Global issues are really important to know it tells us how much the world is suffering, and that if we don’t help the world might get destroyed by us. There are many ways of helping the world, but Global Issues is not only about the world it is also things that happen in the world like poverty and world hunger, and maybe some diseases like HIV/AIDS. By learning about them, we can stop it, it is not thinking about ourselves but for once just think about others, and how they are living their lives and how we can help. Global Issues fit the SLR Living Ethically because, we are learning how to take responsibilities for our actions and how we should appreciate what we have. We are also learning how to care for other people, and care more about the Earth.
